Pujya Swami Gagangiri Maharaj. Adhik Maas is considered highly auspicious in Hinduism, and during this sacred period, devotion, Naam Smaran, selfless service, and charity are given special importance.Inspired by this spiritual vision, Maharaj instructed devotees in Sangamner Taluka to organize an Akhanda Harinam Saptah along with large-scale Annadan (Mahaprasad). Maharaj not only guided the devotees spiritually but also established discipline and rules for the smooth and devotional conduct of the event.Shri Diliprao Shinde and other devotees initiated this noble tradition. Initially, the program was conducted on a smaller scale, but over time, devotees from various villages started participating in large numbers, and the Saptah gradually evolved into a grand spiritual celebration.The Saptah includes continuous Harinam chanting, Bhajan, Kirtan, Pravachan, and Mahaprasad.

॥ Sangamner’s Tradition of Akhanda Harinam Saptah ॥

In the Sangamner region, the tradition of Akhanda Harinam Saptah inspired by P. Pujya Shri Swami Gagangiri Maharaj is regarded as a beautiful blend of devotion, unity, and spirituality. This tradition began through the collective faith of devotees and gradually transformed into a grand spiritual movement.The Saptah was organized at Samanapur in 2007 and 2010, at Devgaon in 2012, at Pimparane in 2015, at Pimpalgaon Depa in 2018, and at Jakhuri in 2023 with great devotion. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Saptah could not be celebrated in its traditional physical form.

During the early years of the Harinam Saptah tradition, P. Pujya Shri Swami Gagangiri Maharaj himself remained present and blessed the devotees.
